Sophie Wahlquist (b. 1983, Germany) is a Mallorca-based multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice spans painting, sculpture, welding, and installation. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Wahlquist has presented a solo project at Frieze Los Angeles and was featured in the inaugural CURATED section of Collectible, where she debuted When The Sun Sank, incorporating traditional Mallorquin metalsmithing techniques. Her work has also been exhibited internationally and is held in the Zabludowicz Collection alongside prominent European and American private collections.
